Large-scale European battery project offers sustainable alternative to stabilize power grid

On Monday 14 May 2018, 140 large batteries, yielding 18 megawatts of power, were officially inaugurated. These 140 Tesla-supplied batteries have officially been integrated into the primary reserve of Elia, the national grid administrator. The batteries are located in the Terhills SME park in Dilsen-Stokkem.
